punctuation marks were proposed.\u00a0\u00a0 For instance, Tara Liloia and Josh Greenman suggested a &#8220;sarcasm mark&#8221; should be added to common punctuation.<\/p>\n<p>Later, Herve Bazin, in his book, Plumons l&#8217;Oiseau in 1966, used this irony mark and also suggested several other new punctuation marks including the doubt point, certitude point, acclamation point,\u00a0 authority point, indignation point, and love point.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-right\"><!-- wp_ad_camp_1 --><\/div>\n<p>Though the irony mark isn&#8217;t widely used or commonly known, it is used occasionally in mostly obscure literary works.\u00a0 In order to help\u00a0 it become more widely adopted, it has been recently suggested that the &#8220;irony mark&#8221;
