Macabre Part 3: The Nightmare Nurse

In this episode of The Brain Food Show, we’re looking at the story of an intelligent, sweet little girl who was given up to an orphanage and then grew up to have a rather successful career as a nurse… and just so happens to be one of the most notorious female serial killers in history.

On another note, if you could do us a huge favor and rate and review this show in whatever podcasting platform you’re using (including hopefully giving us some feedback related to the new format), we would be extremely grateful. Thanks!

  • Hi Guys,
I really like your podcast and have been a big fan of your YouTube channel for quite some time. I specially find the variety in your content amazing. It’s space one week, killer nurses another week and keyboard the following week. By the way , I installed not one but 2 podcast apps ( stitcher and podcast addict) but couldn’t figure out how to post my comments in either app! Maybe it’s just me..
    Good work!

  • Considering I am one of your few loyal ladies fans, along with the macabre I enjoy all abnormal psychology, or biology. (If you want to keep us in mind.

    (It’s pernounced Mia 🙂 )

  • Opiates like morphine constrict the pupils, so that’s what doctors would look for to see if they had overdosed. Atropine widens the pupils, so their eyes would look normal & no one would suspect a morphine overdose.
